Marshalls to Open at The Outlets of Mississippi
The off-price retailer will open rare outlet center location in Late Summer 2023
JACKSON, MS (June 22, 2023) — In what will be a rare outlet center location for one of the leading off-price retailers of apparel and home fashions in the United States, Marshalls will open a new store at the Outlets of Mississippi, the largest outlet shopping destination in the state, in late summer.
Marshalls will occupy 21,160 square feet at the north end of the center in the former Off 5th Saks Fifth Avenue space. The store also continues the center’s commitment to expand its selection of national brands and new retail elements to a growing and active regional shopper base.
“Marshalls has been on the wish list for our guests for quite some time, and we’ve been ready and waiting for its expansion plans to come to Mississippi. Marshalls will join a lineup of tenants that consists of national brands, local boutiques and family entertainment venues, including Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, Nike, Cole Haan, Coach Outlet, Levi’s, Michael Kors, Gap Factory Store, Under Armour and more.
Marshalls has only seven stores in Mississippi, each averaging more than 38,000 visits monthly, and has recently been expanding in Magnolia State, adding two new stores. However, the closest stores to the Outlets of Mississippi are located 15 and 80 miles away.
