Pearl, Miss- The latest Mississippi Department of Revenue report for February 2022 shows Pearl ranks 9th out of 299 cities and towns in the entire state that receive sales tax revenue. For year-to-date collections in the state fiscal year starting July 1, Pearl remains as the 9th highest ranked city.
“This is a clear indication that Pearl provides an extremely business friendly climate and offers diverse options of goods and services that our residents and visitors want,” said Mayor Jake Windham. “We are seeing tremendous business investment all over the city which, in turn, will help us provide even better services and a greater quality of life to our citizens.”
