The goal of the Community Development Department is to promote and protect the City through the use of planning and development practices while providing professional and efficient customer service.

The Community Development Department is responsible for working with the citizens of Pearl, Boards and Commissions, the development community and the elected officials while managing current and long-range planning, land development, building construction, and code compliance.
